Christmas Cakes

While in Florida for Christmas I got to observe my sister-in-law Debbie creating a couple cakes for a Christmas special order. She's a culinary school trained pastry chef, so it was a real treat to watch her in action and learn a few tips! And of course she had a couple helpers on stand by (my nephew Brandon and niece Avery).

    Wow - those are gorgeous! The kids are really growing up. Glad you guys made it home ok.

    Debbie does some beautiful work! The kids are so fun at this age and Avery is such a little personality.

    The trip back was fine - a good amount of traffic but thankfully dry roads the whole way!
